The Weymouth & Portland Postcard retails through tourist shops and TICs in the region. It is packaged as a large postcard with a built in 15 minute DVD giving a lightening tour of the pleasures of Weymouth beach, the jurassic coastline and local attractions. Tourists post the DVD Postcard to friends or buy them as a momento of their own holiday.

It is in effect a self-funding promo – produced rather cleverly by Weymouth & Portland's Borough Council Tourism Unit.
